This a project of Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA) and seeks to conserve the historic pond of Ikhapokhari at Chhetrapati. The project has been stalled after Design development and approval from government and the community as it met with an objection from Kanyamandir School which has claimed the pond as its property. However, a water augmentation program based on surface water drainoff management and rain water collection has been successfully implemented by the Kathmandu Metropolitan government.
